Meet the founder
Ryder Trois established Blackwatch for people facing serious, uncertain, or sensitive situations who need a disciplined, professional approach to finding answers.
His background includes service in the United States Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment and training through the GDBA Executive Protection Academy, Advanced Tactical Driving, Airborne School, Combat Lifesaver, AED, First Aid, CPR, FAA Part 107 drone operations, and underwater search and recovery.
That preparation shapes Blackwatch’s approach: patient observation, methodical fieldwork, clear documentation, discretion, and respect for lawful, professional case handling.

Who we are
Sensitive matters require more than basic information gathering. They require careful observation, preparation, sound judgment, and the ability to operate professionally in changing environments.
Blackwatch’s work can be supported by modern capabilities including drone operations, thermal imaging technology, high-powered optical systems, and professional visual documentation tools. When lawfully and appropriately applied, these tools can strengthen situational awareness and field documentation.
Methods are selected for the circumstances and lawful scope of each accepted matter.
Our approach
Good investigative work requires more than capability alone. It requires judgment, consistency, lawful methods, and dependable communication.
Understand the objective, the circumstances, and what the client needs to learn.
Choose lawful methods that fit the matter instead of creating unnecessary noise.
Work with observation, restraint, sound judgment, and attention to changing conditions.
Organize relevant observations and findings so the work can be understood.
