Meet the Founder

Ryder Trois is the Owner & Founder of Blackwatch Investigations. He founded the agency on the principle that people facing serious, uncertain, or sensitive situations deserve a professional and disciplined approach to finding answers.

Ryder’s background includes service in the United States Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment and training through the GDBA Executive Protection Academy, experiences that helped shape a disciplined approach to observation, situational awareness, discretion, and decision-making under pressure. His training includes Advanced Tactical Driving, Airborne School, Combat Lifesaver medical training, emergency response instruction in AED, First Aid, and CPR, FAA Part 107 certification for drone operations, and experience in underwater search and recovery operations. Together, these experiences contribute to a professional investigative foundation built on careful observation, methodical field work, and the ability to operate effectively in sensitive and high-responsibility environments.

That foundation informs the way he approaches investigative work — with patience, attention to detail, discreet surveillance capability, and a strong respect for lawful, professional case handling. He believes effective private investigation work is not only about gathering information, but about doing so responsibly, thoroughly, and with respect for the trust clients place in the process.

An expert in Spanish, Ryder is committed to serving clients with professionalism, discretion, and clear communication. Blackwatch Investigations reflects those same values: discipline, sound judgment, and a genuine desire to help people find clarity in difficult situations.

Who We Are

Our agency provides private investigation services with a professional approach grounded in discretion, preparation, and attention to detail. Sensitive matters require more than basic information gathering — they require careful observation, sound judgment, and the ability to operate professionally in dynamic environments.

Our services are supported by modern investigative capabilities, including advanced drone operations, thermal imaging technology, high-powered optical systems, and professional visual documentation tools. When lawfully and appropriately applied, these capabilities help strengthen situational awareness, support surveillance efforts, and enhance the quality of field documentation.

Every matter is approached with professionalism and a commitment to clear, reliable results.

Confidentiality Matters

Many matters brought to a private investigator are personal, sensitive, and time-sensitive. Our agency understands the importance of handling that information with care.

Clients can expect respectful communication, professional discretion, and a careful approach to the details they share. Trust is an essential part of this profession, and every matter is handled with the seriousness and privacy it deserves.

Our Approach

Our approach is straightforward: listen carefully, assess the situation, and handle the matter with professionalism from the outset. Private investigations often involve sensitive facts and changing circumstances, which is why our work is grounded in preparation, patience, and careful execution.

We believe good investigative work requires more than capability alone. It requires judgment, consistency, and the discipline to approach each matter responsibly. From the initial consultation to the final stages of an investigation, our focus remains on professionalism, lawful methods, and dependable communication.

The Standard Behind Our Work

Our agency is guided by a simple standard: handle serious matters with discipline, discretion, and sound judgment, and a commitment to conducting ourselves professionally in every aspect of the job.

That standard reflects a simple principle: decide what kind of agency you intend to be, and then hold yourself to it. For us, that means approaching investigative work with steadiness, restraint, accountability, and respect for the responsibility placed in our hands.

We do not believe in unnecessary noise, exaggerated promises, or careless work. We believe in preparation, professional conduct, and handling matters the right way from beginning to end.
